A car missing its front passenger wheel was stopped by Hackettstown police on Route 46.
A driver had too much booze and too few wheels when she was pulled over early Wednesday, Hackettstown police allege.
The front passenger side wheel was missing from Shauna Kohl's vehicle when police stopped the 20-year-old Mount Olive Township resident at 12:43 a.m. on Route 46 in town, according to a police news release. She allegedly told police she had a flat tire.
An officer saw a Dunkin' Donuts cup filled with alcohol, open cans of Bud Light and small bottles of Fireball whiskey inside the car, police said. Kohl also allegedly had a bag of marijuana and a glass pipe.
New speed limits posted on Rt. 46
Kohl was charged with DWI, underage DWI, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, refusal to submit to a breath test, possession of open alcoholic beverages in a vehicle and three motor vehicle violations. Police said she was released pending a court appearance.
