The program consists of working on resident owned homes within the Warren Hills sending district in southern Warren County.

This year HHW is sponsoring a Day of Help and a Weekend of Hope.

The Day of Help is for spring cleaning; the Weekend of Hope is for minor home repairs.

Labor and materials are free to qualifying households. Work will be done by teams of teenagers and adults, representing many Christian denominations and different community organizations.

Day of Help eligible repair projects may include floor cleaning, dusting, window washing, raking, gardening and gutter cleaning, and is scheduled for May 21t. Weekend of Hope eligible repair projects may include minor porch/deck repair, step repair/handrails, interior/exterior painting, weatherization, yard clean up (if done with a repair job), and small, light repair jobs, and is scheduled for June 25-27.

Elderly and/or disabled residents of Franklin, Mansfield, Oxford, Washington Borough and Washington Township may apply.

Deadline for all homeowner applications is Friday, April 1.

Volunteers (ages 14 and up) are always needed and must apply prior to May 1 for the Weekend of Help and June 1 for the Weekend of Hope.

Forms may be picked up at the WCHFH office, 31 Belvidere Avenue, Washington, or downloaded at hopeinthehillsofwarren.org.
