The woman caused disturbances at a Warren County hospital and at a New Jersey State Police barracks, a trooper says.

A 21-year-old Monroe County woman faces charges after she was rescued from a train trestle that spans the Delaware River between Upper Mount Bethel and Knowlton townships, New Jersey State Police report.

When a trooper arrived at the Simpson Road trestle, he met with Pennsylvania State Police, Portland Fire and Rescue and Jesse Roverana, 25, of the 1500 block of Leisure Drive in Kunkletown, Monroe County, according to a news release.

Roverana said he was drinking with Jasmine Sinclair, of the 200 block of McIlhaney Road in Saylorsburg, inside the trestle, police said. Sinclair drank "a large amount of alcohol," passed out and Roverana couldn't wake her up, police said.

She was revived and removed from the trestle by Portland emergency responders, police said.

Sinclair was transported to Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, where she became uncooperative, police said. She was screaming, refused direction from medical staff and had to be restrained to the gurney, police said.

When she was discharged, she removed her own IV, police said.

She was then arrested, handcuffed, searched and taken to the state police station in Hope Township, police said.

While in the station, she continued to scream and kick and bang a bench in a holding cell, police said.

"She refused to remain calm and continued to curse at troopers," police said.

Her belongings were searched and a hypodermic needle was found, police said.

Sinclair was charged with disorderly conduct, defiant trespass and possession of a hypodermic needle, police said. Roverana was charged with disorderly conduct and defiant trespass, police said.

Sinclair on Thursday morning was in Warren County jail, online records show. Roverana was not in jail, the same records show.
