The House of Good Shepherd is hosting two bus trips in the fall.
The House of the Good Shepherd Retirement Community in Hackettstown has scheduled two trips for this fall.
On Saturday Sept. 26 the public is invited to join in on the fun when The House takes a bus trip to the Sands Casino in Bethlehem. A week later, on Saturday Oct. 3, The House will be going to Peddler's Village in New Hope, Pa.
Both bus trips, which leave from The House parking lot, are open to the public. Both are rain or shine.
(File photo) The Sands trip begins at 9 a.m. and costs $25 for the bus, with attendees getting $20 back in slots money and a $5 voucher for food. Attendees will also receive a coupon book for stores located at the casino. For this trip, participants must be at least 21 years old.
The trip to Peddler's Villages leaves The House parking lot at 10 a.m. and will return at approximately 5 p.m. The cost is $20.
