The left, eastbound lane was closed by an accident in Knowlton Township.

New Jersey State Police responded to a pair of accidents Monday morning on Interstate 80 in Warren County, according to the county Department of Public Safety.

One of the wrecks was eastbound just before 8 a.m. near mile marker 4 in Knowlton Township and the other was westbound just before 7:20 a.m. near mile marker 19.6 in Allamuchy Township, the department reported online.

The Knowlton crash involved a spinout, according to a dispatch, and a 24-year-old female victim, the department said. The Allamuchy crash was originally listed as a vehicle into the woods and a trooper at the Hope barracks later said it involved a vehicle into a ditch.

The left lane was shut by the Knowlton crash, the trooper said. It was rainy on Monday morning.
