The team of 7th- and 8th-graders beat Mansfield Township to take the title.
The Oxford Township 7th-8th grade recreational team won the Warren Hills Youth Basketball League championship game recently at Warren Hills Middle School when they beat the team from Mansfield Township 42-24.
The team is comprised of, Jennifer Reid, Holly Ort, Amanda Burdette, Jaelynn Miller, Emily Ferriera, Megan Gill, Kara Henry and Brianna McDonald.
Coaches are: Jason Miller and Ryan Gill.
