Authorities in two New Jersey counties have charged a Morris County man with sex crimes against a child that allegedly occurred over two years.
Christopher D. Davault, 31, of the first block of Laurie Road in Roxbury Township, is charged in his home county with criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child. He is also faces an endangerment charge in Warren County, where he had his first appearance Wednesday at state Superior Court in Belvidere.
Mansfield Township police said a juvenile reported that the alleged crimes occurred between 2012 and 2014. Davault pulled down the male's pants and his own on multiple occasions, pleasured himself under a blanket in front of the juvenile and would talk about masturbation and oral sex, according to township police and a criminal complaint filed in court.
Police did not elaborate on any connection between Davault and the juvenile.
