It may be the biggest residential sale ever in the county.

Three million dollars can get you a lot in Warren County, it seems.

If a home sale this month is any indication, that amount of money will buy a custom colonial home on 256 acres of wooded valley real estate, 5,000 square feet of living space and 2,500 square feet of barns.

The property at 24 Doe Hollow Lane, a private road in Hope Township, sold this month for $2.95 million. The asking price had been $3.5 million.

John Kruk, the Realtor who made the sale, said it may be the biggest residential purchase in county history. Kruk declined to identify the buyers.

In its listing, the property is billed as a good location for retreats. It is bordered by the Beaver Brook on the east and a mountain on the west and offers lots of outdoor recreation opportunities.

Kruk, who on YouTube goes by the handle Drone Agent, promoted the property with aerial video from a drone.

"I just knew that being able to show not only a home, but the property and neighborhood around it ... would be a better way to market Warren County then what we had before," he said. "We are selling this area as a more relaxed world with loads of open space. The best way to show those aspects is from the sky."
