The senior is the first unseeded player to ever reach the finals.

Two weeks ago, Warren Hills tennis player Arshdeep Singh had a record of 2-4.

Now, the Blue Streaks senior is part of Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex tennis history.

Singh became the first unseeded player to ever reach the finals of the tournament.

He will face top-seeded Andre Lai of Hunterdon Central in the No. 2 singles final at 10 a.m. Saturday at Phillipsburg High School.

Singh knocked off second-seeded Colin Greenman of Voorhees 6-2, 6-1 in the quarterfinals and No. 3 Jack Cacciaguida of Sparta 7-5, 6-3 in the semifinals on Saturday.

Before a loss to George Harris of Gill St. Bernard's on Wednesday, he won 10 matches in a row without dropping a set.

Phillipsburg's Sean Quinn and Temitayo Ilori, the second seed at No. 2 doubles, will be in Saturday's finals against No. 1 Jack Amabile and Manas Vemuri of Hunterdon Central.

Top-seeded John Brezina and Ben Sernas of Voorhees also advanced to the finals to face second-seeded Josh Blutfield and Jack Krupinski of Hunterdon Central at No. 1 doubles.
