Centenary's event benefits the Wounded Warrior Project.
Colorful runners will be making their way through Hackettstown this weekend, so drivers should be on alert.
Centenary College's Graduate Counseling Society is holding a "My School Color Run" Sunday morning. The 5K is not timed and will douse participants in colored powder.
The event benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, according to its website.
Hackettstown police will post police officers around the runners' path to direct traffic. The following roads will be closed:
- First Avenue from West Moore Street to Grand Avenue.
- Beatty Street from West Moore Street to Grand Avenue.
- Jefferson Street from Grand Avenue to Center Street.
- West Moore Street from Second Avenue to Monroe Street.
- Church Street from Monroe Street to Jefferson Street.
- West Plane Street from First Avenue to Jefferson Street.
- Fifth Avenue from Grand Avenue to Reese Avenue.
- Reese Avenue from First Avenue to Fifth Avenue.
- First Avenue from West Plane Street to Reese Avenue.
- Center Street from Jefferson Street to Monroe Street.
