A warehouse in White Township was destroyed early Tuesday morning by fire.
No one was hurt in the blaze that was reported at 1:12 a.m. at 587 Route 519, New Jersey State Police said. The long, thin building is owned by Bridgeville Warehouses LLC in Jersey City, property records say.
The New Jersey State Police Arson-Bomb Unit was requested and state and Warren County fire marshals were on the scene, state police Sgt. Greg Williams said.
By 3:30 a.m., only the walls remained in the front part of the structure and the rear was still burning.
Troopers from the Washington station remained at 7 a.m. as the investigation continued, Williams said.
Firefighters responded from Belvidere, Mountain Lake, Oxford Township, Mansfield Township, Allamuchy Township, Washington Township, Washington (Fast Team), High Bridge and Glen Gardner.
Tankers came from Belvidere, Mountain Lake, Oxford Township, Harmony Township, Hope Township, Mansfield Township, Blairstown, Independence Township, Pohatcong Township, Washington Township, Allamuchy Township and Hacketstown.
Rescue squads responded from Belvidere, Oxford Township, Knowlton Township and Independence Township.
The initial ladder truck came from Belvidere but a second truck was requested about 3:15 a.m. from Allamuchy Township.
