A 21-year-old Easton man is accused of threatening to kill a ShopRite manager when she told him he couldn't sell compact discs inside the Warren County supermarket, police said.
Daniel B. Madsen on Oct. 7 allegedly was trying to sell CD's to customers inside the Mansfield Township store without a solicitation permit.
A manager approached Madsen and told him he wasn't allowed to sell items in the store and asked that he leave, police said.
Madsen allegedly ignored the manager, became loud and started cursing. He said he would "have his boys blow her brains out" and then left the store, according to police.
Police were able to identify the suspect as Madsen and mailed a complaint to his last known address with a court date, police said.
Madsen is charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and soliciting without a permit.
