Route 57 was closed in both directions during the time of the accident.
A driver was being treated by Emergency Medical Services after their vehicle left Route 57 in Mansfield Township and overturned, according to a witness account.
The crash occurred just after midnight Sunday about a quarter mile north of Watters Road. The driver lost control of the Saturn 200, which then rolled over onto its roof and came to rest in the southbound lane, according to the witness at the scene.
Route 57 was closed in both directions until about 1 a.m. between Watters and Heiser roads as crews cleared the scene. The driver was being treated by EMS at the scene, but it's unclear the extent of the injuries.
A Mansfield Township police officer did not immediately return a message left seeking more information.
Also responding to the crash was the Mansfield Rescue Squad, Tri-County Fire Co. and the Mansfield Fire Dept. The Mansfield Police Department is handling the investigation.
