A man suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident in Warren County.

A tree cutter suffered life-threatening injuries Saturday when his saw contacted a power line in Warren County.

It happened about 1 p.m. on Snyders Lane in Oxford Township.

A man in a lift apparently touched an electrical wire with a gas-powered pole saw about 20 feet high.

Rescuers called for a medical helicopter but the patient wasn't loaded on it.

Police referred questions to the Warren County Prosecutor's Office. A prosecutor's detective said the office would release information later Saturday.

The accident occurred at the end of Snyders Lane, a wooded dead-end off Hazen Oxford Road.

A crew from JCP&L was summoned to cut power and inspect the damage.

They removed the saw, which was still suspended by the power line more than an hour after the accident.
