Students from Belvidere High School painted 14 storefront windows in the downtown area this week -- a tradition that's lasted more than 20 years.
In this series of time-lapse photos shot with a GoPro camera, a group of students bring a window at Water and Market streets to life with a spooky Halloween scene.
The work lasted more than an hour and was boiled down to about 20 seconds in the time-lapse above.
