The man allegedly ran from officers and into a building in Washington Township.
A Warren County fugitive lost a game of hide-and-seek with a police K-9 unit as he hid in an attic, according to authorities in Washington Township.
On Oct. 19, 26-year-old Jamal Parker, of Washington Borough, was seen walking about 6 p.m. on East Stewart Street, according to a department news release.
Police knew he was wanted by the county prosecutor's office, and he allegedly ran when confronted, going into a building in the 100 block of Belvidere Avenue. He was soon found in the attic by the township's K-9, Axle, and taken into custody, police said.
Parker is charged with evading and burglary.
The charges on which he was wanted were not immediately disclosed. Court records indicate he pleaded guilty to narcotics charges in June and was due to be sentenced in July.
