Former Warren Hills Regional High School field hockey coach Laurie Kerr is one of 20 recipients to win the 2015 National High School Coach of the Year Award.
Kerr, who resigned during the offseason, posted a 264-71-12 record in 15 seasons at Warren Hills and last fall led the Blue Streaks to their first NJSIAA Group 3 title. Kerr, a Warren Hills alumna, also is a member of the New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association Hall of Fame. She is a five-time Express-Times and lehighvalleylive.com Coach of the Year.

This is the 16th year the National High School Coaches Association has presented the award. This year’s recipients, selected amongst a total of 20 boys and girls sports, are from 18 different states. Florida and New Jersey each have two coaches being honored and 16 states have one honoree each.
Each of the winners will be honored in the National High School Sports Hall of Fame Museum that the NHSCA will be building in the near future.
