An officer was tipped off to a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot, police said.
A Phillipsburg teen is facing drug charges after police say he had crack cocaine and marijuana following a traffic stop in Pohatcong Township.
Jacob R. Baron, 18, of the first block of Highlands Way, was stopped at 12:21 a.m. Dec. 28 when an officer spotted a suspicious vehicle in the Brakeley Gardens apartment complex.
Police said the officer immediately detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded two grams of marijuana and two grams of crack cocaine, as well as a digital scale, several plastic bags and other drug paraphernalia.

Baron is charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute, underage possession of alcohol, cocaine possession, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and other drug-related charges.
Baron was released on his own recognizance with a pending hearing at Warren County Superior Court.
