Police released a description of the driver and a photo of what may have been the car.

Police in Blairstown Township are investigating a potential child-luring attempt that was reported Friday afternoon.

A girl was walking about 2:30 p.m. on Mohican Road, near the township fire hall, when a car stopped and the driver tried to give her a ride, township police said in a post on Facebook. A subsequent post included a surveillance photo of what may have been the car.

The suspect was described as a bald white male in his 50s or 60s, with thinning eyebrows and a scruffy face, wearing black rectangular glasses and a gray thermal shirt.

The vehicle was described as a dark gray older 4-door sedan. No license plate was available, though it was described as black letters on an off-white background.
