A Bethlehem man had more than just stolen video games hidden in his jacket when officers arrested him for shoplifting at a Greenwich Township Target store, police said.
Edwin Rodriguez, 20, of Sioux Street, at 2:11 p.m. Saturday was seen allegedly removing packaging from the video games and hiding them under his jacket while at the Target, 1204 New Brunswick Ave. The value stolen was nearly $260, police said.
Officers arrived and searched Rodriguez. Seized was heroin, marijuana and a glass pipe with marijuana residue on it, according to police. Rodriguez also had an arrest warrant out of the Northampton County Sheriff's Department for an unpaid fine.
He is charged with heroin possession, marijuana possession and other drug related charges, as well as shoplifting and being a fugitive from justice. Rodriguez was taken to the Warren County jail.
He was tentatively scheduled Monday to appear in Warren County Superior Court on the charges.
