Freezing rain, some snow and ice are all in the mix for Sunday across the Lehigh Valley.

Road conditions along I-80 in Warren County could be hazardous Sunday morning, New Jersey State Police say.

State police warn of an icy stretch between the toll bridge in Hardwick Township to west of exit 19 - Route 517 in Allamuchy Township. Drivers should use caution.

As of 10:30 a.m., traffic was moveable.

Freezing rain, some snow and ice are all in the mix for Sunday across the Lehigh Valley.

Precipitation began as rain early Sunday across the Lehigh Valley region and cooled to a mix by daybreak, an advisory issued by the National Weather Service stated. It may turn back to rain by evening.

The area could see a dusting of snow -- less than an inch is expected -- and up to a tenth of an inch of ice with the likelihood increasing farther north. The mix is part of a system that could dump more than a foot of snow in areas of New England into Monday, according to AccuWeather.

Strong wind gusts also are expected throughout Sunday.

The National Weather Service says winds of 5 to 10 mph during the day Sunday will strengthen to 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 50 mph on Monday. Forecasters are urging appropriate precautions and say any of these conditions can lead to power outages, as well as risky driving conditions.
