The van driver was taken to an area hospital.
A truck and a van crashed just after 8 a.m. Tuesday at Heckman and Anderson streets in Phillipsburg.
The van driver was temporarily trapped inside. The driver was freed just before 8:45 a.m. and taken to an area hospital. The truck driver did not appear to be injured.
The van had front-end and windshield damage.
The truck is from Driscoll Foods in Clifton, New Jersey.
There is a stop sign on Anderson Street but not Heckman Street. Town police are investigating.
