Traffic signals are out in the area.

Willow Grove Street between Cindy Terrace and Connie Terrace was shut Thursday morning in Hackettstown after a utility pole came down in high winds, town police report.

The ensuing power outage shut Willow Grove School and all students were told to report to Hatchery Hill School, police said. Hackettstown had 714 JCP&L customers without power as of 7:39 a.m., according to the utility's outage site.

Drivers at 7 a.m. were asked to find an alternate route as wires were down in that area, police said.

The region is in a wind warning until 10 a.m.

The traffic signals were not working at the five corners intersection and officers were directing traffic, police said.
