Traffic was being detoured onto the shoulder of the roadway during the crash.
Four people escaped serious injury Saturday morning following a two-vehicle crash in Washington Township.
Police said the 10:15 a.m. crash occurred when Dominic Menes, 20, of Glen Gardner, was pulling out of the former A&P Plaza in a Chevrolet Equinox and failed to stop and yield. He then, struck Kaya Cousin, 20, of Milford, who was driving a Mazda MPV eastbound along West Asbury Anderson Road, police said.

Both Menes and Cousin escaped injury, as well as two passengers in Menes' car -- a 16-year-old boy and Vincent Menes, 18. All were wearing seat-belts at the time of the collision, said Lt. John Kaufmann.
Dominic Menes was cited for failure to stop and failure to yield, Kaufmann said.
The crash took up the center of the roadway, leading crews to detour traffic onto the shoulder for both east and westbound traffic.
Also responding were the Washington Rescue Squad and the Washington Twp Fire Dept.
