Dozens of firefighters were called after the blaze started in a garage and spread to the 2-story home.
Fire crews battled a blaze that heavily damaged a house Wednesday afternoon in Liberty Township.
Firefighters were called about 3:45 p.m. to a home in the first block of Marble Hill Road.
Preliminary reports indicated the fire started in an attached two-car garage and spread to the two-story home. No injuries were reported.
Folks who were inside got out safely with their pets, then discovered a dog was still inside, according to a witness account. Firefighters rescued the dog.
Several fire departments responded to the call.
