The New Jersey woman also had heroin and drug paraphernalia, police said.
A New Jersey man and woman were both arrested after she allegedly stole $849 worth of electronics from a New Jersey Target store and fled.
Iliana Kropf, 32, and Evan Stockwell, 36, both of Hillsborough, Somerset County, were arrested during a traffic stop for separate crimes.
Greenwich Township police at 1:39 p.m. Saturday were called to Target for a report of a female shoplifter who fled in a green Jeep with hundreds worth of concealed electronics.
Police found Stockwell driving the Jeep and Kropf as a passenger. Both were taken into custody.
Stockwell had an unpaid traffic fine out of Bridgewater municipal court. Kropf had municipal warrants out of Bridgewater and South Plainfield Township municipal courts -- both for shoplifting offenses.
Police searched Kropf and also found heroin and drug paraphernalia in her possession. She is facing drug-related charges; a shoplifting charge; and contempt of court and hindering apprehension charges.
Stockwell was released with a pending court date while Kropf was taken to the Warren County jail in lieu of bail. Both Lopatcong Police Department and Pohatcong Police Department assisted in the investigation.
