WARREN - A $250 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man who robbed a township convenience store at gunpoint last month, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson has announced.

The reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers of Somerset County.

On March 26 at approximately 8:39 p.m., township police received a 9-1-1 call reporting an armed robbery at the Krauszer's food store located on Stirling Road, it was previously reported.

An employee told officers that a white male, approximately 50 years old, wearing dark clothing, light colored tactical boots and a white baseball hat, entered the store and immediately walked towards the employee with a handgun and demanded money, police said.

The employee gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled from the store on foot, police said.

Detectives from the county's Major Crimes Unit and township police are investigating the incident and urging the public not to approach him, authorities stated.

Tipsters wanting collect the reward monies must obtain a "tip number" by calling the Somerset County Crime Stoppers' Tip Line at 1-888-577-8477 or online at www.888577tips.org or www.scpo.net and click on either "Crime Stoppers" or "TIPS HOTLINE".
