Voorhees High School defeated Phillipsburg, 6-1, on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at the Phillipsburg Athletic Complex in Phillipsburg.
PHILLIPSBURG - Voorhees High School is off to a 6-1 start to the 2017 baseball season, having scored a 6-1 win over Phillipsburg on Saturday at the Phillipsburg Athletic Complex. This time last year Voorhees was 0-6.
"I think we're more together this year," said senior pitcher Ethan Osgood. "Most of us have played together since we were kids, so we have good chemistry. I think we're a more athletic team. We run the bases a lot more than last year and we've been hitting better."
