The driver willingly turned over a bag of cocaine, according to police.

Three New Jersey partygoers were busted with drugs and having open containers of alcohol during a Mansfield Township traffic stop, police said.

Charged are driver Jordan N. Dicambio, 20, of Andover, and passengers Lindsey E. Reed, 20, and Emily M. Meade, 18, no addresses provided.

Police stopped Dicambio at 1:14 a.m. April 28 for an alleged equipment violation in the township. Police did not state specifically where the stop took place in a news release.

An officer immediately detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle during the stop, police said. Dicambio allegedly told the officer they were coming from a party and willingly turned over a bag of cocaine.

Police said Reed and Meade were found with bottles of vodka and cups containing alcoholic beverages.

Dicambio was charged with possession of a controlled substance and released, pending a court date. Reed and Meade were cited for underage possession of an alcoholic beverage and having open containers of alcohol in a motor vehicle. They also were released, pending court dates.
