"Wild about learning" theme for the school year is carried out in door decorating contest and "World's Largest 5-K Concert."
Liberty Elementary School, in Liberty Township, held its first door decorating contest this October. Every homeroom did a spectacular job decorating their doors to fit into their "wild about learning" 2015-2016 school theme. Taking home the top prize this year was Amy Broxton's third-grade homeroom.
On Friday, October 30, Liberty School participated in the World's Largest K-5 Concert. Fifty states, eight Canadian provinces/territories, and 17 other countries all registered making for an estimated 24,000-30,000 students participating together from about 1,000 screens.
