Heinz, a junior fullback and linebacker, had a big game on both sides of the ball in Friday's 14-13 Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference Liberty Division win over Hopatcong at Fred T. Ehrgood Memorial Field.
Heinz rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. He also was credited with five tackles including two sacks on defense.
The victory clinched at least a first place tie for North Warren in the division standings. The Patriots can win the first outright division title in program history on Thursday with a victory at home against Butler.
