North Warren Regional High School’s football team fell behind early but rode the arm of quarterback Sean Thornton to rally for a 26-19 season-opening win over Morristown-Beard on Saturday.
Thornton tossed three touchdowns for the Patriots, who trailed 13-0 after the first quarter. Darian Redmond was the primary target, making six receptions for 170 yards and two TDs.
Nick Heinz took 20 carries for 151 yards and a score for North Warren.
