The Riverside Festival of the Arts at Scott Park in Easton will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Some things to do this weekend in the Lehigh Valley area:
1.) Riverside Festival of the Arts
There's music, art and fellowship at the 19th annual Riverside Festival of the Arts in Easton.
The festival is held Saturday and Sunday, and actually kicks off this year with the Easton PechaKucha Night Vol. 2, held at the Nurture Nature Center at 518 Northampton St. on Friday night.
The arts festival is held in Scott Park overlooking the Forks of the Delaware. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Twelve live bands are lined up and 70 juried artists will exhibit their work with a chance to win $1,600 in cash prizes.
The festival is free and also features craftsmen and women. Folks can peruse art and shop for stuff that suits their style.
The festival is organized by the nonprofit Arts Community of Easton Inc.
The family-friendly event will include free children's interactive art projects and art supply giveaways, courtesy of Crayola and ACE volunteers.
It also includes a plein air (outdoor) art workshop and contest that anyone can get in on for $10. Get your canvas at the plein air booth and find an inspired spot to create your piece. Winners are judged Sunday and get $500 for first place, $300 for second and $200 for third.

2.) Celebrate in Forks Township
Forks Township Community Days will be held Friday through Sunday at Forks Township Community Park, 500 Zucksville Road.
Hours are 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Entertainment is planned throughout the weekend on two stages.
A popular attraction? The beer and wine tent, sponsored by the Business and Commerce Association of Forks Township and the Easton Area Chamber of the Commerce.
And there are plenty of other things to do.
Carnival rides, a balloon launch, hay rides, a Sunday car show and tethered hot-air balloon rides are all part of the action.
Fireworks are set for about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

3.) Villa Roller Rink reunion
Francis and Jean Packard operated Villa Roller Rink in Warren County for 21 years.
On Friday night, folks who were kids in the late 1960s, 1970s and 1980s will be able to relive their heyday at a reunion aimed at honoring Francis Packard, who died last year at 87.
Admission is $5 and proceeds will be donated in Francis Packard's name to the Glen Gardner VFW, said organizer David Werkhiser.
It will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday at the roller rink on Route 57 in Broadway.
4.) Improvise
The improvisational comedy team ManDudeBro will perform Fridays through October at Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at the SteelStacks campus in Bethlehem.
Matt Candio, Jon Lunger, Dan Maher and Evan Stutts trained in New York and are based in the Lehigh Valley.
Doors open Friday night at 10, with the show set for 10:30 p.m. Admission is $6, $5 for students and seniors and $4 for ArtsQuest members. The show is aimed at those 18 and over.
5.) How 'bout them apples?
We couldn't do this without including some apple-themed event.
Take a drive down Route 222 for a 5K race like no other. The Apple a Day 5K at 8:30 a.m. Saturday takes runners through the 333-acre organic farm at the Rodale Institute at 611 Siegfriedale Road outside Kutztown.
You can cheer on the runners amid hogs, goats, chickens and cows.
