Since coming to this Phillipsburg church, Pastor Rich Gelson has put an emphasis on community involvement.
Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, on Belvidere Road, in Phillipsburg, continues to welcome Pastor Rich Gelson, whosetenure began March 8 of this year.
Pastor Rich Gelson (Courtesy photo) A 1997 graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, he has been an ordained minister for 16 years, having previously served congregations in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He shares his home life with a blended family: wife, the Rev. Stefanie Muntzel, of Musconetcong Valley Presbyterian Church, two teen daughters, a stepson, and the family dog.
He is committed to supporting military veterans and first responders, the Interfaith Hospitality Network, Safe Harbor, the Appalachia Service Project and Camp Johnsonburg.
