Students spent the week "traveling" to various locations through books.
Knowlton Township Elementary School students celebrated an adventurous Read Across America Week "traveling" to classrooms themed by places around the world or in the United States.

They wore clothing from a place they had traveled to, dressed like tacky tourist wore the colors of the country they studied, dressed like teachers and teachers dressed like students, and, to finish off the week, dressed in Western clothes in honor of the book "Kate Heads West" a book written by author Pat Brisson, who helped wrap up the week with a visit and talk.
