The marble-throwing suspect damaged vehicles in two separate incidents, police said.
A 22-year-old man is charged in a second crime after allegedly throwing marbles at people and cars outside a Wal-Mart store in Mansfield Township.
Police last week connected Eugene N. Sasso, of Hackettstown, as the marble thrower in a second incident.
Two victims on March 2 reported to police having windows smashed while parked in back of the Mansfield Plaza parking lot.
Marble-throwing suspect blames crime on 'shady looking male'
Mansfield police on April 11 found Sasso and Jon Overbaugh 28, of Washington, throwing marbles at vehicles and pedestrians in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Both were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Sasso initially denied involvement and said he "saw a shady looking male walk through the parking lot earlier." However, an officer found an open box of marbles in each of their vehicles.
Police later linked Sasso as the suspect in the Mansfield Plaza incident. He was charged with criminal mischief and released, pending a court appearance.
