Two women face drug charges after a car crash in Hackettstown in which one of them was allegedly driving under the influence of heroin.
The crash occurred shortly before 6 p.m. Monday at Franklin and Sharp streets, town police said in a news release.
Mackenzie Hope, 20, of the Budd Lake section of Mount Olive Township in Morris County, was driving a 2012 Hyundai and didn't see another car enter in the intersection, police said. No injuries were reported in the crash.
Hope allegedly told police that she had shot heroin into her hand about an hour before the crash.

Hope's passenger, 25-year-old Amanda Jennings, of Belvidere, was wanted on a $250 criminal warrant out of Washington Township, Morris County. The charge was not specified.
Both women allegedly had drug paraphernalia, including crack pipes, a syringe and empty bags supposedly for heroin and crack.
Hope was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and related drug and motor vehicle charges. Jennings was charged with possessing drug paraphernalia.
Both were released pending court appearances.
