A woman is jailed after assaulting her husband with a rolling pin, Mansfield Township police said.
Police shortly after noon July 3 responded to the Mansfield Village apartment complex. Officers learned the woman hit her husband several times in the neck with the rolling pin and then grabbed a rock and damaged a vehicle.
Police did not identify the woman in a news release or the motive behind the attack.
The woman later was found walking outside the complex and was arrested. She is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and criminal mischief.
She was sent to Warren County jail in lieu of $15,000 bail and the judge ordered she undergo a mental health evaluation.
