A woman weeding on her Mansfield Township property suffered serious injuries when a vehicle crashed into a wheelbarrow, sending the wheelbarrow careening into her, police said.
It occurred about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday in the first block of Rockport Road.
The woman was flown by Atlantic Air One to Morristown Medical Center, township police Sgt. Shawn Bates said. She was conscious upon being transported, he said.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene. No charges were immediately filed, and the names of those involved were unavailable Wednesday evening, as police were continuing to investigate the incident.
