CLINTON TWP. - Township police have released an image of a motorcyclist who fled from an officer on Route 22.
The officer saw the rider of a sport bike motorcycle make an illegal right turn on a red light from Route 621 onto Route 22 east at approximately 5:05 p.m. on Aug. 7.
When the officer tried to stop the rider, the person accelerated, traveled in the middle of both lanes between several cars in order to get through the Cokesbury Road light and sped off, police said. The officer did not continue the pursuit.
The motorcycle was white and the driver appeared to be a male wearing a black shirt with a sleeveless riding jacket over the shirt. In addition, the driver was wearing black shorts and a dark helmet with a "Monster" energy drink logo on it.
