Gov. Chris Christie is coming to Phillipsburg to check out the new high school.
Kids have been in classrooms for more than a week at the school on Belvidere Road in Lopatcong Township, but the official dedication and ribbon-cutting is slated for 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.
It is not the first time the project has attracted the state's governor. Then-Gov. Jon Corzine attended the school's groundbreaking in 2009.

The $127.5 million school boasts 50 general classrooms, a 1,000-seat auditorium, a 2,400-seat gym and a food court-style cafeteria.
While Wednesday's ceremony is invitation only, an open house for the community is slated for noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
