The roadway was closed in both directions during the crash.
A 17-year-old female driver was injured following a single-vehicle rollover crash Saturday morning in Mansfield Township.
The accident involving a red Volkswagon Jetta occurred shortly before 8 a.m. along Watters Road -- about 800 feet from Route 57. Police said the township resident, who was not identified because she is a juvenile, was heading south on Watters Road when she lost control, veered off the roadway and rolled over onto the driver's side.
Police said the teen was a new driver, having received her driver's license in recent months, and was traveling a little too fast around a curve when she lost control.
The girl was taken to an area hospital for treatment or minor injuries.
Watters Road was closed in both directions during the time of the accident. Responding were Mansfield Township police, the Mansfield Rescue Squad, Mansfield Township Fire Co., and Tri-County Fire Co.
