ALLAMUCHY -- Minor injuries were reported Sunday afternoon in a motor vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on Interstate 80 in Allamuchy, State Police said.
The accident occurred at about 4 p.m., in the Warren County township, said Trooper Lawrence Peele, a State Police spokesman. One traffic lane was closed while the scene was cleared, Peele said.
Peele said details of the crash were not available, including the make or model of the vehicles inolved, how many people were hurt, or the nature of the injuries.
"Minor injuries," said Peele.
Video captured by NJ Advance Media showed a trooper who had responded to the rainy crash scene supervising the loading of a dark-colored SUV onto a flatbed truck, as traffic moved slowly past. The SUV and a light-colored minivan or SUV parked on the roadside behind the flatbed appeared to have significant front-end damage.
