He was accused of molesting a teen in 2013, and was previously convicted in 1991.

An Oxford Township man who admitted to sex crimes 25 years ago avoided a conviction on newer charges Friday.

A jury of eight women and four men found Duane Quigley, 45, not guilty on all counts, including sexual assault and harassment

"Thank God," someone said on one side of the courtroom as the verdict was read. On the other side, a woman cried softly as she was comforted by others around her.

Quigley, who served in the Oxford Volunteer Fire Department, was accused of molesting a 16-year-old girl in July 2013 in Oxford. He was arrested the following April by Washington Township police, the department that provides coverage to Oxford, and later posted $100,000 bail.

N.J. fugitive wanted for robberies found in Pa.

He faced up to 10 years in prison on the most serious charges.

In 1991, Quigley was sentenced to seven years in prison after he -- then a 19-year-old living in Hope Township -- pleaded guilty after being accused of having sexual relations with a 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl.
