They were injured along with a third person in the crash on Route 519 in White Township.
A head-on collision Thursday evening in Warren County sent the driver of one car and the passenger in other to an area hospital aboard a med-evac helicopter, New Jersey State Police at Washington said.
It was reported about 5:40 p.m. on Route 519 near Mackey's Orchard in White Township.
Both motorists were flown out as a precaution, and neither appeared to have suffered life-threatening injuries, the investigating trooper told lehighvalleylive.com.
How the crash occurred remained under investigation Thursday night, police said.
The driver who was flown was the lone occupant in one vehicle, and there were no other passengers in the other vehicle beside the one flown for treatment, according to police.
Both were flown aboard the New Jersey State Police NorthStar helicopter to an area hospital, according to reports from the scene. The driver who was not flown was taken by Oxford Rescue Squad to a hospital for treatment.

The collision was between a Mitsubishi sedan and a Jeep Patriot. Police did not immediately have the names of those involved to release.
The Oxford Squad and Belvidere Rescue Squad drove the two motorists being flown for treatment to the Warren County yard on Belvidere Road, where the Harmony Township Fire Department established a landing zone.
Route 519 was closed briefly between Brass Castle and Belvidere roads due to the crash.
