Warren County is accepting applications for veterans to honor at its annual recognition ceremony scheduled for May 6.
Applications and eligibility requirements are available through the Warren County Public Information Department at 908-475-6580 or 800-554-8540 and on the county website at www.co.warren.nj.us/veterans.html.
About 2,100 current and former county residents have received the Warren County Distinguished Military Service Medal since the program started in 2003, the county said in a news release this week.
This year's ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. May 6 at the Warren County War Memorial next to the courthouse in Belvidere. Applications will be accepted through April 21, the news release said.
