The crew of the USS Key West showed their gratitude recently for Christmas cards sent by the Phillipsburg High School Key Club.
The crew of the USS Key West submarine, stationed in Guam, holds a collage of all the Christmas cards they received from the Phillipsburg High School Key Club.
The club sent more than 120 cards with personal messages to the crew.
Chief Petty Officer Eric Bray is a graduate of PHS and is stationed on the submarine. He wrote and said: "This is a picture of some crewmembers holding a collage of all the cards sent from the Key Club. It currently hangs in Forward Compartment Middle Level of the submarine, which is the most walked thru area of the boat. I always see people reading them and think it's awesome that my home town high school did this."
